FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS, filming FINISHED, Hot-Shooting THOUGHTS
Ended and now the vacuum which is usually the next day when you finish filming your movie and suddenly you feel alone, around you there is more that the circus track full of lights and cheer. Of that circus are the memories, the reverb sound of appearances, of the workers, collaborators, sound indistinguishable from 200 people to work, each in own Department, in a hierarchy that if it were not so structured, would not have other way to run a machine much bulky but agile capable in a few hours to build temporary structures which are in turn simulate with absolute realism the awesomeness of life, empathy in viewers, their emotions to be later transported to a world where only you have stubbornly wanted to lead them.
The cinema is now the only form of enjoyment. When you enter in the room there is no difference between social classes. Ticket price is the same for everyone. And in fact all attend the same show unique. Each with its own self and its sensitivity. All participants, (sometimes good sometimes bad-depends on the film!) to what, by unplugging the ticket to the cashier, came over to see. The cinema is nourishment, entertainment, travel, dream, elevation, remembrance, remembrance.
I just finished my last movie. It was a powerful experience as is the treated material. I had the good fortune to work with a great crew and with sublime actors from Russell Crowe, whispered reputation as professional by being difficult and that with me he just shared moments of beautiful creation and sharing films real simple that we were about to face. He trusted me and I've been repeatedly struck by his extraordinary, outstanding, ability to dress up the skin of a character and make it his own. Russell got a big heart and I had many moments for repeating yourself! Thank you! And let's do it again Russel!
Amanda Seyfried, honestly the girl more foul-mouthed and funny that maybe has ever known, the girl that every man would have a friend maybe before you fall in love with, is sweetly knotted in the simplicity of a child grew up maybe in haste and with whom I have ever worked. It gave me so much, I asked her to give me all your talent and she has not been spared. Thanks Amanda! And let's do it again!
Like when you receive an important award, the time of thanks is always too short and it will be here too. But I worked with sublime actors, Oscar winners and nominees and simple bright talents and would like to thank them all!
Thanks to Octavia Spencer, the oscar that you win with The Help is linked to your beautiful heart, Jane Fonda, a living dictionary of American film history and film, not only as a teenager vibrant and full of life despite not twenty years.
And thank you, Aaron Paul, you've worn the clothes of Cameron leaving behind and away from you as Jesse Pinkman.
Remember with dismay the ancestral in depth look of Quevenzhanè Wallis. I don't know where is your depth but has filled your role. Thanks to you my sweet girl.
It was so flattering work with Janet Mcteer, enormous talent, great generosity and trust in join me on this adventure!
And I can not then certainly do not mention Diane Kruger who along with Bruce Greenwood gave the body to a couple tragically hilarious that has greased with a majestic sadness, feelings troubles and loneliness of an unhappy couple.
It was such a joy to see all these unlimited huge talents interact with each other in this cascade of human feelings that pours in movies and a day I have not been able to stop a hysterical attack for rice like Diane Kruger was possessed by his character. Had become unrecognizable and the magic that pure talent manages to carry the actors in other bodies and other lives, has always left me full of disbelief. How do they? Who are the real and who the characters?
Working with actors is perhaps one of the reasons why I do this job, and finally, I was certainly intoxicated, amazed, Thunderstruck amazing talent by Kylie Rogers, who in 10 years has given the film the most vibrant performance that I could ever wish from a girl of her age. Thank you Kylie, cresci centered as until today and don't miss ever devolve from the Hollywood System. One day you'll understand what I mean ... maybe.
Goodbye my Potato Chip.
As a good friend of mine, the Jig is up, the lights go out, friends if they leave.
I am now in editing for the next few months and I will do everything to return what my heart has nurtured for months and my soul has breathed for even longer: pretty much all my life.
At the bottom are the product of our parents and our children are the product of our behaviour ... Luckily comes a splash of Tinker Bell that will stand out and make it unique.
